About this adventure

Each November 15 The Mob Museum marks the anniversary of the 1950 Kefauver Committee hearing on organized crime, held in the museum's historic downtown courthouse building, by opening its doors free to Nevada residents. In 2026, the 14th year, the free day falls on a Sunday, and non-residents get buy-one-get-one admission. Free tickets are handed out in person at the box office, first come, first served, with no advance reservations; residents must show ID with a Nevada address (a driver's license, utility bill or bank statement works). The paid add-on experiences (Crime Lab, Firearm Training Simulator, Distillery Tour) are not available that day. All ages are welcome, but children under 14 must be with a parent or guardian, and the museum notes that some exhibits contain graphic material it considers more appropriate for ages 12 and up. The basement speakeasy and distillery are 21+ and are not part of the family visit.
