About this adventure

Dana Wharf Sportfishing & Whale Watching takes families on short holiday cruises around Dana Point Harbor with Santa aboard the Dana Pride, the largest boat in its fleet. Each trip lasts about 20 minutes (sometimes a little longer), during which children can chat with Santa and his holiday helpers and take photos while looping the decorated harbor; the operator notes there is no direct physical contact with Santa. Rides run on Saturday and Sunday of the first December weekend between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Riders must check in at Dock #1 at least 10 minutes before their scheduled trip. Tickets are priced per person with a lower child rate for ages 12 and under, and all ticket proceeds go to Soroptimist International of Capistrano Bay. Reservations are required. The rides are part of the harbor's Holidays at the Harbor program, which also includes a 700,000-light holiday display.
