- LA Kings Iceland at Paramount
LA Kings Iceland in Paramount offers public skate sessions for all ages and skill levels on freshly resurfaced ice, and no reservation is needed — just show up and lace up. Rental skates are free with admission, and children 6 and under pay a reduced rate, as do seniors, military members and college students. The posted rules keep sessions orderly for families: skate counterclockwise, no more than two people skating together, no tag or games, no hockey sticks or pucks, no headphones, and skaters may not carry children or bags while skating. Figure skaters practising jumps and spins stay in the coned-off center so the outer lanes remain clear for general skating. Group skate packages are also offered, and the rink has skating and hockey departments, with its skating school appearing as the Los Angeles Skating Academy. Session times are not posted on the public skating page, so call guest services for the current schedule before you go.
