San Pedro City Ballet—the pre-professional company where Misty Copeland trained—presents its 33rd annual Nutcracker at the historic Warner Grand Theatre, with artistic direction by Cynthia and David Patrick Bradley. Clara's dream journey brings a dancing Nutcracker, mischievous mice, sparkling snowflakes and a magical Christmas tree, with dance, stage magic, sets and costumes the company describes as fun for the whole family. Five performances: Friday Dec 11 at 7 pm, Saturday Dec 12 at 2 pm and 7 pm, and Sunday Dec 13 at 1 pm and 5 pm. Tickets are sold online through the company's ticket link; groups can call (310) 732-1861.
