About this adventure

Archaeology Family Adventure takes families on a guided naturalist hike through the tropical hardwood hammock at Arch Creek Park, learning about the Tequesta tribe who lived there. Afterward, participants watch a demonstration at a mock excavation site, learn different pot-making styles and create their own pot to take home. The program is for ages 9 and up, with each child registered alongside a parent or guardian. Arrive early, as late arrivals cannot join.
