Families learn about the shells and other treasures that wash up on Boca Raton's beaches, then head out with one of Gumbo Limbo's expert beachcombers to search Red Reef Beach for what the sea has left behind. A relaxed 90-minute afternoon program (2:00–3:30 p.m.) for all ages; a parent or guardian must register and take part with minors. Free, but advance reservations are required by phone at (561) 544-8605. Programs are cancelled in bad weather.
