About this adventure
Tamarac's 46th annual Thanksgiving-morning 5K starts and finishes at Tamarac City Hall at 7:30 a.m. Age divisions start at 9 & under and 10–12, so children run in their own categories, and youth medium and large T-shirt sizes are offered. Strollers are welcome but start after all runners have crossed the start line. Every finisher wearing a bib gets a medal, T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 2,000 registered, water stations sit near the first and second miles, and food and refreshments follow the race, with awards presented at City Hall. Registration is online only and closes at noon on November 25 or when the race sells out; there is no race-day registration. Packets can be picked up at City Hall November 23–25 from 4 to 8 p.m. or from 6:30 a.m. on race day.
