About this adventure
A Thanksgiving-morning 5K along A1A on Fort Lauderdale beach that draws more than 3,000 runners, walkers and "wobblers" each year; the organizers welcome families, friends, coworkers and "little gobblers of all ages." The race starts at 7:30 a.m. from the Las Olas Oceanside Park area at 3000 E Las Olas Blvd, with ocean views at sunrise, and costumes as a favorite side dish are encouraged. Commemorative dri-fit shirts, bib numbers and finisher medals are guaranteed for the first 3,800 registrants and finishers. A combo entry also covers the December Fort Lauderdale Jingle Bell Jog. There is no separate kids' race listed, and the registration page prints only the adult entry price.
