About this adventure

A weekend drop-in studio where visitors of all ages and abilities make art together. This fall's Studio Artist Project, designed by Milwaukee muralist and community artist Isa Castro, invites families to paint and use mixed media to craft a mariposa (butterfly) inspired by the Quadracci Pavilion and the museum collection, celebrating migration, connectedness and new beginnings. The project runs through January 3, 2027, and Castro will be in the studio during the museum's Día de los Muertos, November Free Day and Winter Break Fun events.
