About this adventure

Illuminate Ozaukee turns Zeunert Park in Cedarburg into a drive-thru winter light show each December. Every display along the route is designed and sponsored by a local business, school or nonprofit, so the scenes vary widely in style, and visitors get to vote for their favorite when they arrive, helping pick the year's Holiday Design Champion. Festive music plays along the way, and Santa or other holiday characters sometimes pop up on the route to surprise families. Because everyone stays in the car, it suits babies, toddlers and anyone who would rather not stand in the cold, and the loop is short enough to pair with an evening in downtown Cedarburg a few minutes away. Entry is by a suggested minimum donation of $20 per car, payable in cash or by card, and all proceeds support the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center and its partner agencies; on featured agency nights a share goes to one named charity. Enter the show from Lincoln Boulevard and exit onto Hamilton Road.
