About this adventure
Downtown Waukesha's holiday kickoff. It starts at 5:30 p.m. with the tree lighting at The Rotunda, with music, hot chocolate and Santa. Then families light lanterns and follow Santa on a caroling stroll through downtown to Riverfront Street, where the Walk of Lights is switched on at about 6:15 p.m. at Riverfront Plaza (the old bus depot). Afterward there is a holiday ornament giveaway, treats and another chance to meet Santa. Free 2-hour parking is available at the South Street and Transit Center ramps.
