About this adventure
A Washington County unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest between Hartford and Slinger, named for its 522-acre spring-fed kettle lake in the middle of the Kettle Moraine's glacial landforms. Powder Hill, a large glacial kame, gives wide views of the landscape. Families come to hike, picnic, fish and, in summer, swim and camp.
