About this adventure
Instructors from Three Rivers' Outdoor Recreation School teach families the basics of classic cross-country skiing together: putting on equipment, falling down and getting back up, moving forward, stopping and beginning hill technique. The 90-minute lessons are offered on many dates through winter break. Everyone skiing must register, children must be at least 6, and participants under 12 need a registered adult with them. Rental skis are available for an extra fee ($18 ages 12+, $13 ages 6-11). Lessons depend on snow; check the session page before going.
