About this adventure

A morning for preschoolers and one grown-up each to learn about fika, the Swedish coffee-and-treat break. Nordic Table instructor Patrice Johnson introduces the foods, traditions and stories behind the custom, exploring questions like what Swedish families eat for fika and why. Children decorate their own apron and take home recipes and ideas for starting a fika tradition at home. Museum admission for the child and one adult is included. Arrive 15 minutes early; the program starts promptly at 10 a.m. Register by December 30; ASI may cancel for low registration.
