About this adventure
January's Slöjd Studio for grades 3-5 focuses on embroidery. Instructor Anna Ruhland teaches a range of stitches, and students use them to embroider a sampler inspired by the Dala horse, one of Sweden's best-known folk symbols. The monthly studio is designed to build older elementary students' skills with new tools and materials. Drop-off program (adults may not accompany children); advance registration required.
