The Battle of Franklin Trust marks the 162nd anniversaries of the Battles of Spring Hill and Franklin with 60-minute guided evening tours that focus on the events of those nights and on what soldiers and local families experienced in the very moments they happened. Tours run at Carter House (125 W Fowlkes Street, Franklin) and at Carnton (1345 Eastern Flank Circle, Franklin) on Monday, November 30 at 7 pm and 8 pm, and at Rippa Villa in Spring Hill on Sunday, November 29 at 7 pm and 8 pm. Tickets are $30 per person per tour, groups are capped at 20 people, and tickets must be bought online in advance. The Trust asks visitors not to book both Carnton and Carter House, since there is no time to travel between them. Because of the sober subject, children under 6 are not permitted.
