About this adventure
Beaman Park Nature Center is on a forested ridge in northwest Davidson County. A fully accessible quarter-mile Boardwalk Trail runs along the ridgetop with views into deep hollows and makes a good picnic spot. Behind the center, a deck with rocking chairs leads to a canopy walk into the treetops, and the wildflower garden shows plants from the park's hollows and ridges in every season, from spring serviceberry to late-summer goldenrod.
