About this adventure
Nashville Zoo's evening Halloween event runs nightly through November 1. Children ages 2 to 12 collect treats at 10 trick-or-treat stations (a souvenir bag is included), and families walk among lit fall scenes and photo spots, meet costumed characters, play Carn-Evil carnival games in the Fall Fun Zone and listen to Storytime with the Old Oakley Tree. Animal shows run nightly at 5:45, 6:45 and 7:45 pm, the Scary-Go-Round carousel is free, and a costume parade at the Monster Mash DJ tent closes the evening around 8:30 pm. Kids can buy and paint a pumpkin at the pumpkin patch; the Ferris wheel, zip line and 4D theater cost extra. On Sunday, November 1 the event adds Día de los Muertos entertainment, activities and food. Advance tickets are required for every guest, including babies, because parking is limited, and it is a rain-or-shine event with no refunds. The zoo states the event is sold out and walk-ups cannot be accommodated, so only existing ticket holders can attend.
