Squirrel Survival Games

About this adventure

Could your child survive a Tennessee winter as a squirrel? In this staff-made game at the Warner Park Nature Center, players gather and store food through the fall, adapt to the challenges that winter throws at them and try to make it through to spring. The two-hour drop-in program on a Tuesday afternoon (November 3, 1:30 to 3:30 pm) is meant for ages 8 and up and works well for homeschool families or kids with a day off school. Naturalist Kayleigh Winston leads it. Families and individuals do not need to register; organized groups are asked to email the nature center first.
