Ahead of Hanukkah, the Long Island Children's Museum runs a drop-in afternoon about the dreidel. Children learn the game's history and rules, then decorate their own dreidel to take home. The activity takes about ten minutes and runs from 1 to 3 pm on Sunday, November 29, the end of Thanksgiving weekend. It is listed for ages 2 and up and is included with museum admission, so families can fit it into a longer visit to the exhibits.
