Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson turns into a holiday light park on select dates from November 20, 2026 through January 3, 2027, with what the park calls a reimagined Holiday in the Park. Millions of lights and themed areas fill the grounds: Glittering Gateway at the entrance with a 65-foot holiday tree that lights up each night in a Tree Lighting Spectacular, Santa's Arctic North Pole with fire pits, s'mores and sing-alongs, the candy-themed Sweet Street with cookie decorators and costumed bakers, and a boardwalk-style Coastal Christmas on Shoreline Pier. Families can visit Santa at St. Nick's Pics, drop a letter at the North Pole Post Office, walk the Joy to the World light display, and catch short live shows such as the Frostettes, the Polar Pop! Singers and Elves on Vacation; most rides keep running. Light displays, shows, select activities and most rides are included with park admission, while food, merchandise and some holiday experiences cost extra. The park opens only on select days during the season, so check the park calendar or app for the days and hours before driving down, and dress warmly for an evening outdoors.
