About this adventure
Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit offers an afternoon NJEA mini camp for children ages 5 to 10 on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Campers explore the many ways people think about the moon and how it affects life on Earth, learn about nocturnal animals, talk about lunar exploration and make a moon-themed craft, then head outside for games on the arboretum grounds. The cost is per child, $50 for members and $65 for non-members, and registration is required; refunds are not given for cancellations made within two weeks of camp. An optional Lunch Buddies hour from noon to 1:00 PM ($20 members, $30 non-members) lets campers from the morning or afternoon session bring lunch and stay an extra hour.
