The first Reynolds Foundation Reindeer Run comes to Veteran's Park on Engleside Avenue in Beach Haven, on Long Beach Island, the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Starting at 9:00 a.m., families can choose a 5K or a one-mile run and walk, and the one-mile option suits younger children and strollers. Results include a 12-and-under age group. Online registration is a flat fee per race, while on-site registration offers lower children's prices, so families with several kids may find day-of sign-up cheaper. This is the race's first year.
