The Three Village Turkey Trot is a Ward Melville High School PTSA fundraiser held the Saturday before Thanksgiving at Ward Melville High School in East Setauket, Suffolk County. It begins with a 250-yard Kids Fun Run at 8:30 a.m., short enough for the youngest runners, followed by the 5K at 9:00 a.m. Proceeds provide scholarships for graduating seniors. The kids' race costs half the 5K fee, and the school setting makes parking and spectating easy for families. Registration is open now on RunSignup, and this is a good fit for families in the Stony Brook, Setauket and Port Jefferson area.
