About this adventure

The City of Yukon's public library runs a weekly set of storytimes split by developmental stage, all in its program room on Lakeshore Drive. On Monday mornings come Wigglers (newborns up to crawling, 10 a.m.), Littler Movers (wobbly first steps to walking, 10:45 a.m.) and Happy Feet (confident walkers and runners, 11:30 a.m.). Each is a short 25-minute session of stories, songs, rhymes and bounces. On some Tuesdays, Preschool Prep Storytime (10 a.m.) is a 45-minute class with stories, crafts and practice in the independence skills children will need in a classroom. The calendar also lists occasional extras, such as a Friday-afternoon Tippi Toes storytime with a local dance studio. Sessions are listed with free Eventbrite sign-ups on the city calendar, so families can check the week's schedule and reserve a spot. The library closes for Veterans Day and Thanksgiving.
