About this adventure

During Guthrie's Territorial Christmas, a one-day ticketed tour opens some of the town's most distinctive homes and historic buildings to visitors. The Oklahoma Territorial Museum and Carnegie Library is one of the stops; there visitors hear stories of the early days of Oklahoma's first capital, and wassail is served to warm hands at the library. It is a self-paced walking and driving tour best suited to older children and teens who enjoy history and old houses. Proof of a ticket is needed to enter every participating home and building. Tickets can be reserved online for pickup on the day, or bought in person from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Guthrie City Hall (101 N 2nd Street, at Oklahoma Avenue and 2nd Street). Sales close at 2 p.m. on tour day. The Victorian Walk evening is the same day, so families can stay downtown into the night.
