About this adventure

On the second Sunday of every month, acoustic musicians gather in the historic Arcadia Round Barn on Route 66 for an open jam, the Round Barn Rendezvous. Any acoustic player can join in, and visitors are welcome to sit and listen to the music in the barn's round loft. That makes it an easy, free outing for families with kids who are curious about fiddles, guitars and banjos. The jam runs from noon to 4 p.m., so families can drop in for part of the afternoon. The volunteer-run barn's gift shop is normally open 10 a.m.–5 p.m. daily, and the barn asks visitors to call ahead in extreme weather.
