About this adventure
Oklahoma Contemporary, on the Automobile Alley edge of downtown at Broadway and NW 11th, has free walk-in admission to all of its exhibitions, so a family can drop in for a short look at contemporary art without a ticket. Children of all ages are welcome in the galleries; caregivers are asked to stay with and actively engage children under 14 for the whole visit. Only small strollers are allowed in the galleries (double strollers go in the locker room), backpacks and large bags stay in the car, and works may only be touched when clearly labeled interactive. Café Contemporary serves baked goods, coffee and tea, and the outdoor Art Garden sits just south of the main building. The OKC Streetcar's Arts Park stop is at NW 11th and Broadway.
