About this adventure

The Inasmuch Foundation Crystal Bridge Conservatory is the tropical glasshouse at the center of Myriad Botanical Gardens downtown: a 224-foot tube of translucent panels holding 13,000 square feet of plants in a wet tropical zone and a dry tropical zone, with a waterfall, reflection pool, overlook terraces and interpretive signs about the plants. It makes a warm indoor walk on a cold day. The free outdoor grounds around it hold the Children's Garden and Mo's Carousel, a vintage carousel of hand-carved Allan Herschell horses and figures that runs daily (credit cards only, $3 per rider). The splash water features are closed for the season and reopen in May 2027; the Devon Ice Rink opens in November 2026. Pets on leash are welcome on the outdoor grounds but not in the conservatory.
