About this adventure

The Sooner Theatre in downtown Norman stages ELF The Musical for the 2026 holiday season. The musical follows Buddy, a human raised by Santa's elves, who travels to New York City to find his father and ends up reminding the city what Christmas spirit is. It is a high-energy, comic holiday show that tends to suit school-age children and teens, and the theatre held open auditions for it October 2–4. Performances run over two weekends in December: Friday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Saturday matinees at 2 p.m. and evenings at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Seating is in two sections, with Star Circle (rows A–H) closest to the stage and Main (rows I–R) behind. The theatre is on East Main Street, near downtown Norman's restaurants and the city's holiday events.
