About this adventure
Oklahoma City Ballet's production of The Nutcracker by artistic director Ryan Jolicoeur-Nye returns to the Civic Center Music Hall for its third season after debuting in 2024. The staging blends the traditional story with whimsical new touches, cinematic sets and more than 195 handcrafted costumes. Every performance has Tchaikovsky's score played live by the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, and Canterbury Youth Voices sing during the Snow Scene. Matinees run on Saturdays and Sundays, with evening shows Thursdays through Sundays. Every person, including infants who sit on a lap, needs a ticket, and all sales are final. A separate sensory-friendly performance is on December 21.
