About this adventure

The Pollard Theatre Company's A Territorial Christmas Carol has been a Guthrie holiday tradition for more than 30 years and 1,000 performances. It is Stephen P. Scott's reimagining of Dickens' story, staged in the 1901 Pollard Theatre in the middle of Guthrie's historic downtown. The theater pitches it as a Christmas outing for the whole family, rated 7+. The run time is 90 minutes with one 15-minute intermission, a manageable length for school-age children. Infants and toddlers are not admitted. Children 12 and under pay $10. A $15 student rush ticket goes on sale 30 minutes before each show with a valid student ID, and groups of 10 or more get discounts. The run overlaps Guthrie's Territorial Christmas, including the lighted parade on November 28 and the Victorian Walk evenings on December 5 and 12, so families can combine a show with the downtown festivities.
