About this adventure
Mix-Tape is Factory Obscura's 6,000-square-foot hand-built immersive art experience on NW 9th Street in Midtown Oklahoma City, styled as a 20th-century 'audio autobiography'. Everything is touchable (gently) and interactive, so children can crawl through, climb into and explore the multimedia installations, and many spaces work like calm sensory rooms. It is designed for all ages, takes most strollers, and has a family restroom with a changing table. The space was also designed to give visitors with vision loss, hearing loss or autism a meaningful, low-stress visit, and most of it is wheelchair accessible. Popsicles and local drinks are sold on site. Advance tickets are encouraged because some time slots sell out; otherwise buy at the box office if space remains.
