About this adventure

Orlando Family Stage has set aside the Sunday, December 13 matinee of A Charlie Brown Christmas: Live On Stage as a Relaxed Performance. The stage version of the Peanuts television special, billed for all ages, follows Charlie Brown as he agrees to direct the neighborhood Christmas pageant, copes with a cast that will not focus, a Lucy who makes everything about herself and a Snoopy obsessed with a decorating contest, and finally chooses a small, overlooked Christmas tree that shows everyone what the season means, all to Vince Guaraldi's music. The show runs 90 minutes including one 15-minute intermission. The theater's accessibility page lists noise-dampening earmuffs for guests who benefit from reduced sound and designated quiet spaces for anyone who needs a break from sensory stimulation, and asks families with specific needs to contact the box office in advance so staff can support their visit.
