About this adventure

Snow Flow Mountain is the ice-tubing slide inside the Snow Factory at Gaylord Palms' Alpine Village, open for the Christmas at Gaylord Palms season. Riders carry a tube up the ramp and race down side-by-side ice lanes with family or friends; a ticket and wristband give unlimited same-day rides, and the tubing area is kept at about 60 degrees, so it feels wintry without real cold. It is a good add-on for school-age children visiting the ICE! exhibit, and the resort sells bundles that combine tubing with ICE!, gingerbread decorating and the snowball activity. Rules are strict: one rider per tube, no children on laps, riders must hold on and stay seated, and riders must be able to carry their own tube up the ramp. Small tubes fit riders between 42 and 52 inches; taller riders use large tubes.
