About this adventure

Orlando Science Center runs a three-day full-day break camp in the first week of winter break, with two tracks by grade. Science Heroes, for kindergarten to second grade, looks at the science behind everyday heroes: campers learn how medical staff care for patients and act as electrical engineers who balance and fix the grid, working as a "Rapid Response" team. TriWizard Camp, for third to fifth graders, mixes science with wizardry: campers make wizarding wands, learn about beastly hideaways and grow their own magical plants. Break camps take place in classrooms and outdoors at the science center and are scheduled for days when Orange County or Seminole County public schools are out. Registration is through the center's camp system, and families need an active Orlando Science Center membership, valid through the camp dates, before they can book.
