27th Annual Mariachi and Folklórico Festival — Chandler Center for the Arts

About this adventure

Chandler Center for the Arts and C.A.L.L.E. de Arizona stage their 27th annual mariachi and folklórico showcase on the Steena Murray Mainstage, this year with an all-Arizona lineup: Mariachi Pueblo Viejo, Mariachi Nueva Fusión, singer Evelyn Ozuna and the dancers of Ballet Folklórico Quetzalli-AZ, under Maestra Vanessa Ramírez. The program honors Día de Muertos with music, swirling folklórico dance and a mercado of local vendors, which makes it a lively introduction to Mexican music traditions for school-age children and teens. The ticketed show starts at 4:00 pm; families can come earlier for the free outdoor Entre Dos Mundos Día de Muertos community celebration at the same center (listed separately). Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster in four all-in price tiers.
