A drop-in Discovery Station at the Hassayampa River Preserve visitor center near Wickenburg, where Ranger Kevin brings out some of the Sonoran Desert's 'creepiest' residents — snakes, scorpions, spiders, centipedes and bats — for visitors to meet up close and learn how each fits into the web of life. A short, low-key Halloween-season outing for curious kids of any age; no registration required.
