About this adventure
The annual Family Fun AZ Halloween Bash fills the Arizona Boardwalk courtyard on Halloween morning. The centerpiece is a costume contest for kids 18 and under with a $1,000 cash prize, so it is worth arriving in costume. Around it are trick-or-treating for candy, carnival games, face painting, live entertainment and family-friendly performances, plus shopping, raffles and giveaways. It is a daytime alternative to evening trick-or-treating, outdoors and free, and works for toddlers through teens; the neighboring aquarium and attractions are open for those who want to make a day of it (separately ticketed).
