At SanTan Village in Gilbert, Santa sits in the Children's Play Area near Build-A-Bear from Friday, November 13 through Christmas Eve. A visit is free and photo packages are optional; booking a slot online skips the line and comes with a free personalized video message from Santa. Besides the regular sessions, the center adds two themed evenings: Cowboy Santa Nights, from 5 to 7 pm on the Tuesdays of November 17 and 24 and December 1 and 8, for family photos with a Western flair, and Pet Nights from 4 to 7 pm on the Mondays of November 16, 23 and 30 and December 7 and 14, when leashed or carried domestic pets can join. Weekday hours start at 2–7 pm in mid-November and run 11 am–7 pm through most of December, with longer weekend hours and 9 am–9 pm days just before Christmas; most sessions pause 3–4 pm. Santa is off on Thanksgiving Day and works 9 am to 6 pm on Christmas Eve.
