About this adventure

Scottsdale Fashion Square runs a Sensory Santa session on Sunday, December 6, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., at Santa's spot in Palm Court. It is one of the mall's special Santa events this season, alongside Pet Nights on three December Mondays, and it is aimed at families whose children find a busy holiday line too loud or overwhelming. The page gives only the date and time, not how the session is run, so it is worth asking the mall about lighting, music and line management if your child has particular needs. Santa is at the mall from November 6 through December 24, with a daily break from 3 to 4 p.m. during regular hours. Meeting Santa is free; photo packages are sold separately. The mall suggests reserving a time through its Santa booking page, which also sends a personalized digital message from Santa before the visit.
