Harvest Festival Weekend at Enchanted Island

Enchanted Island, the small amusement park for young children inside Encanto Park, holds its annual Harvest Festival over the weekend before Thanksgiving. The festival area adds a historic hayride through the Encanto Park neighborhood (one of Phoenix's first planned communities), a bungee trampoline, a cake walk, a corn box to dig in, a petting zoo, carnival games such as ring toss and a pumpkin fish pond, pumpkin golf and pumpkin bowling, oversized tic-tac-toe and several bounce houses and slides. Everyone entering the festival area needs a wristband, including year-pass holders; families can buy festival-only access or a combined wristband that also covers the park's rides all day, which is the better deal for preschoolers who will want the carousel and train too. Bring up to two canned food items per person for $2 off each, benefiting St. Mary's Food Bank.
