Pittsburgh Musical Theater's A Lyrical Christmas Carol, which PMT calls a holiday tradition of more than 30 years, returns to the Gargaro Theater in the West End from December 16 to 20. The musical adaptation by Ken and Jane Gargaro follows Scrooge on Christmas Eve as four spirits, his late partner and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come, lead him to change his ways by Christmas morning. It is a Young Artist Production performed by PMT Conservatory students, and PMT bills it as a classic for the whole family. The small off-Broadway-style venue puts audiences close to the stage, which helps younger children stay engaged.
