Kamin Science Center screens the G-rated 1992 film The Muppet Christmas Carol in its Rangos Giant Cinema on Friday, December 11. Jim Henson's Muppets retell Charles Dickens' story of Ebenezer Scrooge, who is visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future and learns the true meaning of the holiday. The film runs 85 minutes and is labelled All Ages, so it is an easy first giant-screen movie for younger children. It requires a separate ticket from general museum admission: $12, or $10 for Carnegie Museums members. Kamin notes that online ticketing is temporarily unavailable during a ticketing-system change, so tickets are sold in person at the first-floor ticket counter or by phone.
