About this adventure
The Strand Theater in Zelienople brings back The Polar Express, the 2004 animated holiday film featuring the voice of Tom Hanks, for two Thanksgiving-weekend screenings in its historic Main Street theater. A young boy rides the Polar Express on a magical journey to the North Pole and learns about friendship, bravery and the spirit of Christmas. The theater's page also shares background on the film, which used motion capture, with adults playing the children's roles using oversized props. The film is rated G and runs 1 hour 40 minutes. General admission is $5, with a $4 price for seniors 65 and over, and tickets are sold through the Strand's online box office.
