About this adventure

Carnegie Museum of Art's Story Saturdays bring children into the Ailsa Mellon Bruce Decorative Arts and Design galleries for an in-person morning story time followed by a making activity for children 12 and under. On November 21, Alyssa Velazquez reads 'Pa, Me, and Our Sidewalk Pantry' by Toni Buzzeo, about a grandparent and grandchild who add a sidewalk pantry beside their little free library to help neighbors. On December 12 she reads 'Stockingopolis' by Tatyana Feeney, in which Ben and Lucy brighten a gray seaside town by painting a single sheep. The October 31 session features 'Escuela de la Belleza' with Gabriela Pinilla. Each session is about an hour and is free with museum admission; the museum links a registration page for each reading.
