About this adventure
As part of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust's Día de los Muertos celebration in the Cultural District, the Harris Theater hosts its annual family-friendly midday screening, this year of The Book of Life. The animated fantasy-musical follows Manolo, a young bullfighter who journeys through the afterlife to win the heart of his childhood friend. Children 12 and under are admitted free, with reduced prices for students. The Trust's celebration also includes an interactive community ofrenda in the Kara Family Lobby at the Greer Cabaret Theater from October 22 through November 2, where visitors can leave a photo, a flower or a written memory to honor a loved one.
