On Halloween morning Kamin Science Center shows Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D in the Rangos Giant Cinema. The PG-rated stop-motion film follows Jack Skellington of Halloween Town as he searches for the meaning of Christmas, and the 3D giant-screen format adds to the spooky fun. The film runs 76 minutes, starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, which leaves the rest of the day free for trick-or-treating. The screening is listed for children, teens and adults and requires a separate ticket ($12, or $10 for Carnegie Museums members). Tickets are currently sold at the first-floor ticket counter or by phone while online ticketing is paused.
