About this adventure

Wildlife biologist and National Geographic Explorer Doug Smith, who led the Yellowstone Wolf Project that brought gray wolves back to the park in the 1990s, presents never-before-seen photos and video of the reintroduction and of how Yellowstone's landscape has changed since the wolves returned. Before the 7:30 p.m. talk, The Reser and OMSI offer a free hands-on session, Hunters of the Sky, from 6 to 7 p.m. in The Lab: students learn how hawks, owls and eagles hunt, explore adaptations like silent flight, and dissect owl pellets to take home their findings. The pre-show lab is for ages 8 and up and space is limited, so reserve a free spot. The main presentation suits curious tweens, teens and animal-loving families; tickets are $31.75 to $56.
