Year-round theater classes from Oregon Children's Theatre for kids ages 3–18, from beginners to college-level training, run as 6-week terms at several locations around the Portland metro and SW Washington. Teaching artists focus on acting technique and life skills such as self-awareness, empathy, teamwork and creativity rather than costumes or a single script. Scholarships are available for all Acting Academy classes; OCT says it has never turned a child away for financial reasons.
